The Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling Team got the 2018 Giro Rosa underway in Verbania, Italy on Friday. The race started with a 15,5 kilometre team time trial. Cervélo Bigla set the fourth fastest time on the day with 18 minutes 47 seconds, ensuring a good start to the race. 

The race continues with the first road stage tomorrow. The peloton will start and finish in Ovada with the stage raced over 120 kilometres.
