Bigla ready to take on the OVO Energy Women’s Tour

This year's OVO Energy Women's Tour has been extended from five to six days. The tour will kick off in Suffolk and lead over 157.6km from Beccles to Stowmarket and features a category 3 climb. The following day the peloton races on a 62.5km criterium style event at Kent’s Cyclopark where the riders complete 25 pan-flat laps of 2.5km each. The third 145 km long stage takes the field from Henley-on-Thames to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Blenheim Palace. The route features a category 2 climb up Pishill and a category 1 climb up Britwell Hill. This will be followed by an almost 160 km long stage with a hilltop finish from Warwick to Burton Dassett Country Park on the next day.  The first two-thirds of the stage is undulating with four category 2 climbs. The 140 km long penultimate stage from Llandrindod Wells to Builth Wells will be consistently hilly with two category 1 ascents at Gorddwr Bank and Epynt, and offers 2,200m of elevation.  The final day of this 6- day event will be a 125km route with undulating terrain traversing from Carmarthen to Pembrey Country Park where a category 1 climb up Black Mountain awaits the riders before they eventually reach the finish line.
