Cervélo Bigla to debut new kit in Belgium
This weekend, Cervélo Bigla Pro Cycling will debut its 2016 kit in racing when it lines up in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad (27 Feb) and Omloop van het Hageland (28 Feb). This season, the team made the switch to Scottish clothing company, Endura. Late last year the team visited the company's headquarters in Livingston for fittings.
Furthermore, Product Director, Pamela Barclay visited the team at its training camp in Mallorca to continue the development of its women's range provided to the team.
“It’s really important for us to be investing in women’s road cycling competitively,” said Barclay.
“The thing that struck me has been how well bonded the team is. There is a warm culture within the team. The really exciting thing for us is we can offer them kit which is cutting edge. The TT suits we’ve been developing with Movistar with Simon Smart in the wind tunnel we’re able to offer the girls here at Cervélo Bigla. The athletes have been really easy to work with. They’ve been very balanced in their comments and feedback.”
Team leader, Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio commented on the partnership with Endura: “It’s really great to collaborate with people with the same passion and desire. The kit is absolutely amazing. It’s really cool to have a sponsor that treats us the same as the men. We feel that we get as much attention from Endura as the men do and they feel really strongly about our potential and what we can do. Even more awesome is the technology of the TT suits. We’ve heard a lot about it and it has been great to fit it. We’re very excited to represent the Endura brand this year.”
