Maria Vittoria Sperotto gets to know her teammates and team partners at camp
Maria Vittoria Sperotto got to know her Bigla teammates and discovered more about the team's new partners at our camp in Spain. Find out what she thinks below.
1. What do you think about your Chapter2 bikes?
Chapter 2 is a relatively new brand, and we are the first professional team to use it. I have a RERE and what catches your eye first is the design and the Maori design on the top tube. It is a special touch that differentiates it from other bikes and makes it unique. I tested it during the first race in Valencia and it is really reactive and aero. I also like the story behind Chapter 2, and I’m excited to continue to write new chapters in its story book!
2. There are many new signings on the team roster this year. How is everyone getting along at the camp?
Everything is quite new to me, but after few days we were able to create a greate atmosphere and we are a group that can work together really well. The staff are extremely helpful and professional, and they work hard all day to support us. If we have requests or some kind of problem, they are always there for us. I think all the riders have such different personalities, and that is one of the things that makes being part of this team so interesting. I have to admit that it was initially a little challenging to speak English all the time in the team, but I’m really getting the hang of it, and I can see myself improving day by day.
3. The team’s kit is very different from previous years. What are your thoughts on the new design?
Our new kit from Endura is so beautiful. It has the perfect combination of high quality and design. I think it’s very easy to spot in the peloton and the jersey is extremely well made, down to the finest details. I really love it!
4. How does Bigla compare to your previous teams? What’s different about this team?
What I find most different is the organisation of the team and its programs, which are really detailed and well-thought-out. I feel what it’s like to be part of a real team here. All my teammates are so motivated and all of us want to achieve something this season. I really appreciate how my teammates motivate me, and I’m looking forward to learning a lot from everyone.
