The Bigla Pro Cycling Team will take part in Internationale Thüringen Rundfahrt der Frauen from 17 - 23 July. The race takes place in Germany with 8 stages contested over 7 days. New signing Carmen Small and Joëlle Numainville form part of the team after recently completing the Giro Rosa.

Emily Aubry, Iris Slappendel, Lotta Lepistö and Vera Koedooder last raced The Women's Tour and make up the remainder of the team.

Annemiek van Vleuten was originally scheduled to take part in the race but is still recovering from a crash sustained during the Giro Rosa and will be replaced by Koedooder.

"I raced Thüringen one time before in 2010 when I almost won a stage as I was in a breakaway group and they caught me 400 metres before the line after a solo attack," Koedooder said.

"For this year I think the 8 stages in 7 days will it make a very hard race, one of the hardest of the season next to Giro and Route de France. There's one day when we have 2 stages, a TT and road race, and that's always hard mentally/physically. It's difficult to say if we have people who go for the GC but I think for myself I will try to support the team and maybe there is one day I can go in a break," Koedooder concluded.
